Editing The CD Cover/Poster

We adjusted the colour curves of them to bring more colour and add more contrast to the image. The text and textures layered to the shot also contributed to the roughness and genre of the photo.

Magazine Advert

 

This is the magazine advert that we designed on paper then transferred into Photoshop. This was done for our second ancillary task.

We used the album cover for the background to keep a theme going throughout our productions. We used a torn piece of paper to keep with the rough theme of punk, along with the rough font at the top. The choice of the white writing was made because it stood out from the dark background making it obvious what the advert is about. 

Mise-en-Scene: The shot was purposefully taken in a rough place to match the theme and sound of the band/song. This rough theme was matched in the style of clothing, and objects the subjects are holding. This mirrors the whole punk scene/genre, and fits in with the bands rough sound.

Storyline Ideas

One idea is of 10 people standing together wearing the same clothes. Another clip will be one or two people dressed out of place and they will sing part of the lyrics.

Editing So Far

This is how far we have got in the editing stage. It consists of the song in the audio track, the film we did outside the run down building, in the pub and in the garage.

Recording and CD Cover Photoshoot

We took photos for the CD cover outside a run down building. We also filmed for our music shoot around the same location.

We edited the photos in Adobe Photoshop.
